Returns & Exchange
At House of Indira, every product is carefully sourced and packed with attention. We follow a 3-step quality check process before dispatch to ensure your order reaches you in the best possible condition. We truly value your trust and aim to deliver a pleasant shopping experience every time.
Please note that slight color differences may occur due to lighting, camera settings, and screen resolution. Sarees, Paithanis and textiles often have natural sheen and color variations, which can appear different in photographs. Such minor differences will not be considered defects.

Returns & Exchange
- If you did not like the product or it doesn’t match personal expectations, we offer an exchange or store credit, which is subject to approval and availability. For an exchange due to personal preferences, you have to ship the product back to us, and the return shipping cost will be borne by you.
- We also offer an exchange or store credit in case you receive a wrong, defective or damaged product. In such cases, we will arrange a pickup of the product and the return shipping cost will be borne by us.
- If the price of the new product is more than the price of the original product, we will need prepaid payment of the difference amount during an exchange.
- If the price of the new product is less than the price of the original product, we will provide you with a store credit for the difference amount, after we have received the original product back, in the condition defined in our returns & exchange policy.
- The store credit will be valid for one year from the date of issuance.
To initiate an exchange:
• Email us at houseofindira01@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving the package.
• Provide reason of exchange and photo/video proof of the product for review.
• Also confirm the product name, code and details of the new product in exchange.
• Once reviewed, our team will respond to your email within 2 business days and provide approval of the exchange.
• Returns will need to be sent within the next 5 days to the following address:

• The product must be unworn, unwashed and unused, with original tags, and in its original packaging along with the invoice.
• Once we have verified that the returned product meets the above conditions, we will confirm the receipt of the product on email. Within 48 hours, we will ship the exchanged product to you or issue the store credit to you - whichever applicable.

Refunds, exchange or returns will not be accepted if:
• Not informed within 48 hours
• The issue is due to minor color variation, which is natural in textiles
• The returned product is worn or used or washed, doesn't have original packaging and tags
• All the items in the original package are not returned
In case, the returned product doesn't meet the above conditions, we will inform you per email. In case of no response, we may ship the same product back to you and the shipping cost for the second delivery will be borne by you.

Store Credit Terms
• Issued only in approved cases, damaged/incorrect product cases
• Valid for 1 year
• Products bought with store credit are not eligible for exchange due to personal preferences

Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items
The following cannot be returned or exchanged:
• Clearance or sale items
• Products purchased using store credit
• Items marked “non-returnable” during offers or promotions
